As soon as a brother manages to pull oneself together, on-course to follow-up my 9-hour-productivity day with a maximum-allowable 10-hour day, I get offboarded from my eight-dollar-an-hour AI Annotation gig. I'm certain that this time it's for real. I'm not holding my breath for a correction-and-clarification email with instructions to ignore what was an erroneous offboarding email, like how this scenario played out a week ago.

From the Incognito-Window search I did, I understand that it's a mass offboarding, but knowing that someone else is suffering the same way you are, or perhaps even worse, doesn't make what you have to deal with the slightest bit easier. I just hope they'll pay out the outstanding amounts, one of which a so-called Work Order has already been created for, while the fact that the offboarding email said to log any further outstanding hours has me hopeful that RWS doesn't screw-over AI annotators like other similar companies I've worked with do.

So, regarding AI training companies that screw people over, we're talking here Outlier, whose MO appears to be getting freelancers to build up momentum, only to get offboarded very close to the next payout cycle... Except of course then not paying what they owe upon this conveniently-timed termination.

I mean -- hey, man, 🙄you moss know about how ridiculously inaccurate that location-detector built into the brower is, right? Some kind of brazen, supposedly IP-based location detection system says I'm based near Edenvale, sometimes, hence the "Asian MILFS waiting for you in Kempton Park" ads, on any one of those sketchy sites you might land on. I'm in Soshanguve, but sometimes, when I log into maybe Facebook or access some site using my Gmail account, my two-factor authentication message says: "A new device has logged in near Johannesburg."

That's the only reason I can think of for Outlier having indefinitely suspended me from their platform, which is as much of a BS reason as any of the others they said could be the reason!

So, with RWS, it was good while it lasted, and, to reiterate, hopefully they'll pay out what's due beyond the the $62.64 that's indicatively in the pipeline. That would be $176 for the 22 hours completed out of the targetted 240 hours in total, for which I had some invigorated motivation and a newfound discipline, in line with my plan to purchase a scooter with which to do food deliveries and film some local travel content for my YouTube channel.

On the second day of which I was building up some good momentum, the SYSTEM shows itself to be armed with a hypersonic intercontinental missile-shaft that's firmly locked-in on my arsehole!😢
